From Easter Sunday to the Book of Revelations...Trump et al....

here is no doubt who Trump wants to be . He longs for the powers of Erdogan of Turkey. He longs to dominate the media, control the constitution, lock up his opponents and determine truth. We see in Trump's congratulatory phone call the truth. He longs to be Edorgan .He wants to lock people up, he lacks any appreciation of democratic sensibilities . And Steven Banner , the perfect post modern fascist is Trump's chief of staff , the alt right flexes it's muscles and spreads it's tendrils to Marine LePen , to Putin and now to Erdogan. It's quite clear strong authoritarian leaders with large egos and thin skins . The blood that runs in their veins is that of nationalism and self interest .The cult of the personality is back,the ghosts of Stalin, Mussolini and Franco rattle the kids if their tombs . The ghosts of the 30s , raised by globalisation and the Liberal elite haunt our world. In North Korea a paranoid third generation leader brandishes his phallus of Nuclear weapons and threatens the ego of a billionaire who equally inherited an assumption of power who waves back house own phallus. In Japan haunted by Hiroshima and Nagasaki , ghosts of the past stalk the land. We pour fuel on the fire as Theresa May fuels the flames by supplying arms to Saudi Arabia and visiting Erdogan. Nationalism breaks out as May says we are all coming together post Brexit and we all look out fearing the monster we see...Yet the monster is wearing our clothes and sounding like our echo. We wake to the post Easter World and see the Book of Revelations looking back. The four horsemen look like Trump, Kim Jong Un, Putin and Erdogan. The flames of war are fanned and we are all afraid....

The things we do not see tell much about ourselves. I look around and become aware of the blank and unseeing eyes . They do not see the growing inequalities, the casual racism and sexism they call banter. They do not see the growing prejudice and projection because they are not of that group. They do not stand outside of themselves and see who they are . They do not critique their assumptions and 'common-sense " ..It is a problematic we all face everyday . The phrase we use " move on get over it' " snowflake" show the metaphors and assumptions we make. The language is brutal crushing and all sensibilities are crushed with it. This is the language of Trump, Lepen and Farage
