The edge of tbe Brexit nightmare....The poker game of Brexit plays on.
Beads if sweat break out and run down the faces of the pathetic grouping
that are the Tory Brexit negotiating team. December nears and we grope
Lear like to the edge of the cliff. The terms the Tories are seeking are
a response to the internal politics of the Tory Party. They are nothing
to do with the rest if us , they are nothing to do with real European
concerns or the European citizens who live here or
the British economic migrants living in Europe. This is a tagic-comedy
that Sophocles could have written. I listen to an interview with Kier
Starker listen to his intelligence; his reasoning and I know clearly
that Cornyn, Starmer; Thornburg and Gardiner would cut the Gordion Knott
of Tory prejudice and kipper ignorance. Then and only then will we get
a reasonable Brexit deal . I still can't decide what will happen I
suspect that like the Eagles we can check out any time we like...but we
can never leave...the cliff edge nears and not leaving may be the only
way back from disaster...and the Tory Party is about to shattered more
powerfully than it was at the time of the repeal of the corn laws.if we
walk away we walk to xenophobia and narrowness . We have to stay...
