Loads of people know the Green Party comes from a good place, has great values, and has some amazing ideas that would make our society more equal and more sustainable place. People want Green representation, but don't think it's possible. This couldn't be further from the truth in May 2016, here in Mid & West Wales. If you vote Green on the grey regional ballot paper, we will get our first Green elected Welsh Assembly member in the Senedd. The voting system is fairer on the regional list, and we can make a breakthrough here in Mid & West Wales. #VoteGreenOnGrey this May to #ShakeUpTheSenedd.

Alice was born and raised in the region, growing up in Llanfyllin in Montgomeryshire and studying in Welsh at her local school. After leaving school, she went to Bristol University, where she studied Physics and Climate Science and since then she has put this knowledge into practice, working in academia and the third sector. After a period working at a university in Barcelona, Alice moved back to Wales and worked at the Centre of Alternative Technology in Machynlleth, co-ordinating research and communicating the results of their 'Zero Carbon Britain' project. Since leaving CAT, Alice has continued to live in Mach, while working on social justice campaigns with Global Justice Now. At the end of 2015 she was elected the leader of the Wales Green Party.
With her 32nd birthday coming up in April, Alice is the youngest party leader in the whole of Britain. She isn’t just another politician; she is a local who has fresh new ideas about how Wales should fight against austerity and for sustainability. She passionately believes that the Wales Green Party has important ideas for the future of Wales, ideas that have been locked out of Welsh politics for too long.
The voting system in Wales works in our favour. If you want to see Alice and Green ideas in the Senedd, all you have to do is vote Green on your grey regional ballot paper. It is time to #ShakeuptheSenedd

Ganwyd Alice yn yr ardal, ac fe'i magwyd yn Llanfyllin yn Sir Drefaldwyn, gan astudio Cymraeg yn ei hysgol lleol. Ar ôl gadael yr ysgol, aeth i Brifysgol Bryste, lle astudiodd Ffiseg a Gwyddoniaeth Hinsawdd. Ers hynny mae hi wedi gweithio ym myd academia a'r trydydd sector. Ar ôl cyfnod yn gweithio i brifysgol ym Marcelona, symudodd Alice yn ôl i Gymru a gweithio yn y Ganolfan Dechnoleg Amgen ym Machynlleth, yn cydlynnu ymchwil a chyfathrebu canlyniadau eu hadroddiad, 'Zero Carbon Britain'.
