The Green Left Surge in Holland as Wilders fades away.....

The tide turns as Wilders fades and the Green Left Surge.....In Holland the far right is blunted as the tide begins to turn. Stoke marked the fact that if you can stop the disaffected voters from being seduced by the racist charms of the populist right then you win. Holland was such a moment and the increase in the vote of the Green Left party shows new possibilities for the left. The party is pro immigration and pro muliticulturalism and increased it's vote by 8% However there is still the French and German elections to come. Across the UK cuts in benefits begin to bite and the Tory government spreads it's loathsome outlook. In the USA Trump's travel ban is stopped in its tracks and he turns on the judiciary . But Geert Wilders loathsome party only managed 13% Perhaps the tide is turning but there is a long way to go.....There are many elections to come but we were there at the turning of the Tide....The Green Left in Holland has been the very antithesis of the populist right of Wilders and his UKIP like Party...It shows what the green left must learn throughout Europe....a few months ago I argued that we were on the edge of a political paradigm shift in which the struggle would between a populist authoritarian right and an Ecosocialist left,,,,watch this space....
