Fifty Shades of McEvoy..shading with Cyffin Thomas

I was amused to hear about this event last week. Cyffin Thomas, Plaid and LGBT activist ran into problems last week. It seems that that well known “snowflake" Neil McEvoy felt that the term was racist and offended him. It rather rich after we hear so much from Prince Neil about the dangers of political correct
Its rather odd you know that someone who claims to be so confident can be so obsessed with such alleged slights. Its ok for Neil to allege bullying by strong women and feeling no concern about criticizing domestic violence charities. When it comes to Neil feeling ontologically insecure about himself then its entirely different. We Psychotherapists call it narcissism it occurs when you think everything is about you,

Now I know Neil is a middle aged man who knows nothing about modern terms used by different subcultures, so I will excuse him. His ignorance of modern cultural terms is never as bad as Jac o`the North once calling the Para Olympics  a “Victorian freak show” but it’s does tell us a lot about the friends Neil has and I guess they are not a very good influence on him.

My little birds and Dire Wolves who sent me the screen shots of the exchange on Neil’s page also told me that one Anne Greagsby had much to say on the matter but for some reason removed her comments a bit later. Perhaps she is keen to get back into Plaid after her suspension runs out. Anyway to help Neil I am informing him of the correct meaning and terms that much urban speak involves,
On Page 35 of Gwlad, Gwlad, Aled Jones tells us that Neil remembers being bounced around on George Thomas knee at the local youth club. Perhaps Neil has insecurity ever since about his identity and projects this anxiety onto others. Still enough of that….

So here for Neil is a guide to a few terms to stop him remaining a “broflake”.

A commonly seen stereotype of the quintessentially conservative, heterosexual, white male, who despite all his privileges and advantages in life, is easily sensitive to any criticism or mockery. Unable to see outside of his own perspective, and takes everything personally, even when it's not about him specifically. Fragile like a snowflake, but with the mentality of a "bro." Usually denies or ignores reality and the very real struggles of other genders, races, sexual identities, etc.

Represents those afflicted with the "fragile male ego" and is the opposite of "woke."
"Mike was deemed a broflake by the public when he went to a Black Lives Matter protest and shouted, 'All lives matter!'"

"Jared was dumped by his high school girlfriend for being a broflake after he commented 'Not all men!' during her presentation on sexual assault victims"

"Don became extremely butthurt after being called a broflake, and channeled his frustration into offensive, false internet comments about Hillary Clinton"

"When asked to confront the reality of the world's problems, Paul, a broflake, had a list of irrelevant excuses prepared, such as 'we all have problems,' 'make your own luck,' 'if you work hard enough...,' and 'at least it's not like...'"

What is the snowflake syndrome?

Noun. special snowflake syndrome (uncountable) (derogatory) The conviction that one (or often, one's child) is, in some way, special and should therefore be treated differently from others.

throw shade: to talk trash about a friend or acquaintance, to publicly denounce or disrespect. When throwing shade, it's immediately obvious to on-lookers that the thrower, and not the thrower, is the bitcy [sic], uncool one
And also:
throwing shade: Throwing Shade, is to throw "attitude."
And finally:
shade: acting in a casual or disrespectful manner towards someone/dissing a friend
